Rear Power Window LH does not Operate with Rear Power Window Switch LH
|
DESCRIPTION
If the rear LH side manual UP/DOWN function does not operate, there may be a malfunction in the rear power window regulator switch LH, the rear power window regulator motor LH, the power window regulator master switch, the harness and connector.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH - BATTERY)
|
|
(a) Disconnect the N9 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.
|
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:

N9-3 (B) - Body ground

Ignition switch ON

11 to 14 V

(c) Reconnect the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.

INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH
|
|
(a) Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH
.
|
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH LH - REAR POWER WINDOW MOTOR LH)

|
(a) Disconnect the N9 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.
|
(b) Disconnect the N10 rear power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH
|
(a) Remove the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH
.
(b) Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.
(c) Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.
OK:

Battery positive (+) → 1
Battery negative (-) → 2

Motor gear rotates counterclockwise
|

Battery positive (+) → 2
Battery negative (-) → 1

Motor gear rotates clockwise

(d) Reinstall the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH - REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH LH)
|
|
(a) Disconnect the M2 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
|
(b) Disconnect the N9 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
